Restorative Saturday

Saturday 28th February 2026

10.30 - 12.30 pm

Pulford Village Hall, Chester

£25 book via bookwhen in the link below:

A beautifully relaxing and restorative way to start the weekend with your own wellbeing in mind.

Some gentle mindful Hatha yoga to begin winding down the body and mind before over an hour of pure restorative yoga.

Ending with some herbal tea and healthy snacks to send you on your way.

Suitable for all levels and props provided to support you and give you the softest landing on your mat.

Restorative yoga is a gentle, passive style focusing on deep relaxation and stress relief by holding 4 - 5 supported, comfortable poses for extended time, using props like blankets, bolsters, and blocks to allow the body to completely relax and the nervous system to reset. It emphasizes stillness, mindful breathing, and a meditative state, helping to reduce anxiety, calm the mind, and promote overall well-being, making it suitable for all levels.

✨️ As you settle into your final pose we'll begin a soothing soundbath to help to clear, cleanse and balance the bodies energies leaving you feeling deeply relaxed, nourished and restored in body, mind, and soul.

🌿 We'll gently guide you back through some yoga nidra, body scanning and tapping, and close with a rejuvenating cup of herbal tea.

Bring yoga mats, blocks if you have them, blankets, cushions and perhaps an eye mask.

We look forward to holding this space for you.

Yoga and mindfulness for cancer 30 minute workshop at 12.45 - prebookable by clicking

HERE

Having a diagnosis and treatment for cancer can be a very lonely place. Once a month I provide a safe space for people on the Llyn Peninsula who may be affected by cancer. You can just come along and BE, no expectations other than come along and be in a community where it is understood what you are experiencing and you can feel some support.

I choose Cwt Tatws because it is open year round for the community and I used to live nearby and know how isolated it must feel at times. A partner, friend, family member is more than welcome to come along with you.

    Mindfulness

Mindfulness brings us into the present moment.

This is where we can pay attention, on purpose

to our experiences with a curious mind.

The benefits are more awareness in our lives,

moving away from ‘auto-pilot’ and into a calmer,

    more peaceful way of being.

Meditation is just one of the tools, as is breathing,

    that supports this process.

Time to press pause, its time for you!

Mini retreats are the first taster for you to experience truly dropping into a space just for you. Allow your nervous system to self regulate, feel relaxed and calm as the stress of every day life melts away.

Day retreats, the next step up is to spend a whole day immersing yourself in a beautiful environment in nature. Nourishing yourself with healthful food lovingly prepared to nurture your soul. Spending some time outdoors taking in all that nature has to offer us.

Some time with simple mindful crafts and of course some yoga - slow flow, yin, restorative.

    Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a practice of conscious relaxation, using props in every posture to support your muscles in gentle and comfortable positions.

The focus is on opening and relaxing and not strength or flexibility. Promoting states of peaceful contemplation, abundance and well-being.

We are giving our nervous system the opportunity to come away from ‘fight or flight’ and relax into ‘rest and digest’.

Learn tools and techniques to self regulate.
